Josh Shirley will need to get to Matt Barkley often to throw him off his game. Keith Price must step up.

Keith Price made several poor choices coupled with the defense’s lack of tackling and it all buried the Huskies and their chances of winning. The defense allowed too many rush yards to Oregon’s 3 running backs and their quarterback and couldn’t secure the ball.

Russell Wilson was able to make a lot more plays through the air and succeeding with flying colors. His slot receivers Doug Baldwin, Golden Tate and Zach Miller stepped up and put the Seahawks in favorite positions. The defense held their ground as usual, with Richard Sherman in the zone.

Poor playcalling has not helped rookie Russell Wilson succeed, but he has made the best out of nothing. Despite being handcuffed and deemed a game manager instead of a stellar starting QB, Wilson has shown he has what it takes to succeed. He just needs the opportunity to do his thing.
