Trail Blazers: 5 things to watch for in training camp

NWSB Editor Bryant Knox gives us five things to watch for as the Portland Trail Blazers begin training camp. The 2013-14 NBA season will be an intriguing one for Rip City. Along with the development of Damian Lillard, it will be interesting to watch how the rotation is set with a crowded backcourt comprising Wesley Matthews, CJ McCollum and Mo Williams. When it comes to LaMarcus Aldridge, expect to hear about trade rumors. Also, Robin Lopez will help the team defensively.

Moments in time…The Seattle Seahawks week that was

Seattle Seahawks blogger Clinton Bell is back with his fourth Seahawks Moments In Time piece of the 2013 season. This week the Seahawks needed a bit more than the 60 minutes normally allotted for a football game. Kudo’s to Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin, Brandon Mebane & Richard Sherman…

Look up dysfunction in the dictionary…2013 Seattle Mariners

NWSB Insider and Seattle Mariners Blogger Brian Scott discusses the train wreck that has become the Mariners. With Manager Eric Wedge announcing last week that he will not return in 2014, it should be clear as crystal that the team is in a state of dysfunction that rivals Lindsay Lohan’s rehab progress. Maybe Paul Allen should add the Mariners to his list of teams alongside the Seahawks and Portland Trail Blazers.
